2.6 miles a day challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support
When I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I laughed and said "I can't have, I don't have any breasts !!. Now 10 years on, I count my blessings with every sunset I see.
At a time where Covid 19 is our priority, many many charities have been put on the back burner.
Instead of the Macmillan Mighty Hike Challenge on June 6th, I have decided to take up their 2.6 mile a day challenge until I complete 26 miles by May 26th. This will culminate with a 'Zoom' Instepp-athon 26 minute fun workout to end on a high note (or collapse).
I am inviting as many of you as possible to take part in this challenge, in your garden or on your hourly walk.
We need to raise money for Cancer Research, so we can spend more time with our mums, dads, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, friends and partners.
Lets make getting a diagnosis no longer the end !!
Come on everybody no time like the present, May is National Walking Month.
